Now seeing kids through MyMichigan Rehab West Branch. Come see me there!
Jesseca Raymond
I am a full-time Occupational Therapist licensed in the state of Michigan and registered with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. I currently work for MyMichigan, where I see a wide range of pediatric patients as well as adults with varying diagnoses. I previously spent six years working with children of all ages in the Houghton Lake School District before transitioning fully into my MyMichigan role in September 2024.
I grew up in Midland, Michigan before moving north to Houghton Lake in 2018. I graduated from Saginaw Valley State University in 2017. Although my primary expertise is in pediatrics, I have additional experience in outpatient orthopedics and skilled nursing settings from both my college training and as-needed professional work. During my undergraduate studies, I participated in a research project evaluating behavioral changes in children with Autism while using a color-coded keyboard piano system. I also had the opportunity to study abroad in Zambia, Africa, where I helped build homes for AIDS orphans—an experience that deepened my appreciation for service and global community.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my three nieces and four nephews, as well as fishing and camping. I have a passion for tortoises and turtles and currently own a 10-year-old Sulcata tortoise named Walter. My family also includes two dogs: Dixie, a 1-year-old Dachshund, and Moe, a 14-year-old Lab/Pit mix. I recently got married in August 2024, and I am grateful to continue building my life and career in Northern Michigan.
I look forward to continuing to spend each week doing the work I love. I believe strongly in a person-centered approach to therapy—one where the child and family guide the goals that matter most to them, supporting meaningful progress, confidence, and independence.
